Seven Cedars Equine offers the following weanling and yearling services:

• Facilitation of weaning and trailer training for transport to Seven Cedars Equine if necessary.

• 24/7 group turnout with young horses of similar age and condition, chaperoned by experienced babysitter geldings or mares.

• Included in each turnout field: free-choice access to quality round bales, Nelson freeze-proof automatic waterers and standing stock tanks, 12x30 run-in shed with lights, V-wire mesh fencing with top rail and hot wire.

• Personalized vaccination, deworming and farrier plan to ensure optimal immune, gut and limb/hoof health.

• Grain feeding 1-3 time per day, with individual feeder and staff monitoring.

• Daily health checks in the field, including look-over for bumps and bruises, halter rubs, hair loss or other indications of poor-doing.

• Monthly inspections in the barn to monitor body condition and weight, musculoskeletal development, limb angulation, hoof growth and overall balance.

• Complimentary enrollment in our 7CE Good Citizen program, which will create a foundation of skills to help support continued success and wellbeing, including standing for the farrier, bathing, clipping and trailering among others.
