Seven Cedars Equine foaled for us in 2024 and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Our VERY large mare has a previous injury to her pelvis that left us very concerned for her comfort and safety during foaling, but Dr. Sarah assured us that she would be carefully monitored. When her water broke, Dr. Sarah quickly moved her onto the grass just outside the barn, where she happily laid down and delivered a huge healthy colt. The mare was calm, relaxed and able to attend to the foal without distress or discomfort - it was a wonderful experience for all involved. This is the kind of individualized care that really sets Dr. Sarah and Seven Cedars Equine apart - when you work with them you’re not just a client, you and your horses are family!

After several attempts with other veterinarians failed to get my favorite mare bred, I turned to Seven Cedars Equine at the recommendation of friends. As soon as Dr. Sarah scanned Sky she knew the problem - her ovaries were hyperactive, indicative of a metabolic issue. She helped me develop a plan for diet and exercise to get Sky back to a healthy weight over the winter, and when we returned in the Spring, Sky caught the very first cycle - and with frozen!
